Polsheer Pavilion is a profile created after more than thirty years of cooperation between Isfahan Azad University and Polsheer Architects. A symbol of interaction and coordination between the academy and the profession of architecture in Isfahan city.
With its 40th anniversary, Polsheer Architects decided to build a symbolic building as an employer in memory of the long-standing cooperation with Isfahan Azad University on the site of this university and in the vicinity of the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning and its mission in the field of raising the next generation. A mission that in all these years led to the cultivation of a significant number of graduates of this faculty in the professional path of architecture.
The presence of the pavilion in this site as a creative element in architecture, with its capabilities, can provide a suitable gathering space for students and develop their complementary skills. Also, create an opportunity for their intellectual and behavioral creativity to emerge in the open space. In the same way, in a 5-month process, the pavilion design competition was completed with the efforts of Polsheer Architects as the employer, Azad University of Isfahan as the beneficiary, Marjan Tile as the financial sponsor, and Ivan's artistic cultural chain as the executive.
One of the basic components of this competition has been the intelligent selection of the jury, which includes a combination of veterans and professional and academic elites. The judges of this competition were Ms. Nasreen Saraji and Mr. Bahram Shahidi, Mohammad Reza Ghaneei, Hooman Balazadeh, Farshad Ghafarzadeh and Pooya Khazaeli. The main approach of this pavilion has been focused on the prominent elements of context-oriented architecture in Isfahan city, and finally, after numerous and strict judging sessions, the design presented by "Kuroosh Jamarani and Parichehr Abbasi" deserved the first place, and the design presented by "Ali Sabzi" was chosen. And his group" deserved the second place and "Ali Akbar Golmohammadi" design deserved the third place.
Finally, the closing ceremony of Polsheer Architects Pavilion was held with the presence of the managers of Polsheer Architects, Marjan Tile and Islamic Azad University of Isfahan in the assembly hall of the central library of Isfahan Municipality on 05/19/1402 and the executive director of this competition Mr. Amir Mohammad Akhavan. The announcement of the final results of the competition in this ceremony honored the selected teams.
