The 16th meeting of builders and designers was held in the historical city of Shiraz on 27-28 December with a wide welcome from the people of the country's construction industry for the first time. The architecture of Shiraz Municipality, Alireza Pakfitrat, a member of the Islamic Council of Shiraz, Sattar Sohuri, head of the construction engineering system of Fars province, and Tahereh Nasr, a member of the central council of the construction engineering system organization, were unveiled.
The Builders and Designers Summit was held under the initiative of Sama Media Complex and with the participation of Shiraz Municipality's Architecture and Urban Development Vice-Chancellor with the aim of promoting high standards of architecture, consolidating the foundations of innovation in the construction industry, and establishing effective communication between design departments and investigating the role of added value in architecture.
Also holding two exhibitions in the field of construction industry including; SCALE exhibition with 100 prominent projects and architects of the country and construction materials exhibition with the presence of construction industry brands were among the other programs of this summit.
This summit, with the presence of prominent architects from all over Iran and the world, focused on an arena for the visualization of innovation and creativity in contemporary architecture, so that the architectural works and projects presented in this program, which was accompanied by the speeches of 30 architects, are outstanding examples of combining art and technology. of sustainable materials and providing creative solutions for modern challenges of urban development.

No. 69 of the Encyclopaedia of Architecture is specially dedicated to the architecture of Isfahan city and Dr. Mohammad Reza Ghaneei (architect of 1402). The main approach of compiling the written content of this issue, which was entrusted to the guest editor Mr. Sahand Monshi, upon the request of the CEO of this encyclopedia Mr. Shahryar Khanizad; It has been prepared and arranged based on the contemporary architecture of Isfahan.
Based on this, the editorial board of the title "Isfahan contemporary, towards author architecture?" has been considered as the policy and agenda for the production of the content of this issue. In this choice of approach, the contemporary architecture of this city has been emphasized in order to remind that "the architecture of Isfahan today" is still valuable and progressive in the course of contemporary Iranian architecture, and the architectural identity of this city is not only known by its past; Rather, "context oriented architecture in the context of Isfahan" has created a dynamic and creative identity in Iranian architecture.
In this regard, the written content of this special issue includes materials and articles such as "Architecture in the context of Isfahan", a note by Mohammad Reza Ghaneei, "From the passage of tradition to modernity, to the connection of tradition and modernity in Isfahan" by Monire Karimzadeh, "Rereading the Iranian context" by Sahand Monshi, "Extension of Iranian Thought in Contemporary Architecture of Isfahan" written by Ashkan Ghaneei and "Issue of isolation and how to biologically connect the residential fabric and the green border of Zayandehrud" written by Milad Shahbazi are assigned.

Polsheer Pavilion is a profile created after more than thirty years of cooperation between Isfahan Azad University and Polsheer Architects. A symbol of interaction and coordination between the academy and the profession of architecture in Isfahan city.
With its 40th anniversary, Polsheer Architects decided to build a symbolic building as an employer in memory of the long-standing cooperation with Isfahan Azad University on the site of this university and in the vicinity of the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning and its mission in the field of raising the next generation. A mission that in all these years led to the cultivation of a significant number of graduates of this faculty in the professional path of architecture.
The presence of the pavilion in this site as a creative element in architecture, with its capabilities, can provide a suitable gathering space for students and develop their complementary skills. Also, create an opportunity for their intellectual and behavioral creativity to emerge in the open space. In the same way, in a 5-month process, the pavilion design competition was completed with the efforts of Polsheer Architects as the employer, Azad University of Isfahan as the beneficiary, Marjan Tile as the financial sponsor, and Ivan's artistic cultural chain as the executive.
One of the basic components of this competition has been the intelligent selection of the jury, which includes a combination of veterans and professional and academic elites. The judges of this competition were Ms. Nasreen Saraji and Mr. Bahram Shahidi, Mohammad Reza Ghaneei, Hooman Balazadeh, Farshad Ghafarzadeh and Pooya Khazaeli. The main approach of this pavilion has been focused on the prominent elements of context-oriented architecture in Isfahan city, and finally, after numerous and strict judging sessions, the design presented by "Kuroosh Jamarani and Parichehr Abbasi" deserved the first place, and the design presented by "Ali Sabzi" was chosen. In the final chapters of the book "The essence of Place" the activity of a group of contemporary architects has been investigated and by emphasizing the "importance of continuing the great ancient tradition in architecture" the architectural examples that were formed on the basis of "thinking in the rich environment of Isfahan"; It has been investigated and narrated.
